Day 01 – Arrival in Beijing
Arrive in Beijing, the capital city of China. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by your local tour guide and transferred to your hotel. Check in and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to relax after your journey.
Day 02 – Beijing City Tour
Tiananmen Square • Forbidden City • Jingshan Park • Temple of Heaven • Panjiayuan Antique Market
Meet your guide at the hotel lobby and begin your exploration of Beijing’s rich history. Visit Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world, followed by a tour of the Forbidden City, the largest and best-preserved imperial palace in China.
Continue to Jingshan Park for a panoramic view of the Forbidden City from Coal Hill.
Enjoy lunch at a local Chinese restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Heaven, an important imperial complex used for harvest prayers. End the day with shopping time at Panjiayuan Antique Market.
Return to the hotel. Optional evening activities such as a Peking Duck dinner or cultural show can be arranged.
Day 03 – Beijing
Mutianyu Great Wall • Olympic Park (Bird’s Nest & Water Cube – Exterior)
After breakfast, travel to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, one of the most scenic and popular sections among international visitors. You may hike along the wall or take a cable car (optional).
Return to Beijing city and visit the Olympic Park, stopping for photos at the iconic Bird’s Nest and Water Cube (exterior views).
Evening is free to explore nightlife options such as Houhai bars, Sanlitun, or a traditional foot massage.
Day 04 – Beijing to Xi’an
Hutong Rickshaw Tour • Summer Palace • High-Speed Train to Xi’an
After check-out, enjoy a half-day Beijing tour. Experience a traditional Hutong rickshaw ride near the Drum Tower area, offering insight into local life.
Visit the Summer Palace, China’s largest and best-preserved imperial garden. A boat ride on Kunming Lake is included. Lunch will be served at a nearby restaurant.
In the afternoon, transfer to the railway station for a high-speed train journey to Xi’an (approximately 5 hours). Upon arrival, meet your Xi’an guide and transfer to the hotel.
Day 05 – Xi’an
Terracotta Warriors • Bell Tower • Gao’s Courtyard • Muslim Quarter
Begin the day with a visit to the world-famous Terracotta Warriors, one of the most significant archaeological discoveries in history. A shuttle bus will be provided within the site. Visit a pottery workshop to learn about traditional figurine making.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Bell Tower, followed by Gao’s Courtyard to experience traditional architecture, paper cutting, and shadow puppetry.
Explore the lively Muslim Quarter for shopping and local street food. Optional evening activity: Tang Dynasty Show with Dinner.
Day 06 – Xi’an to Shanghai
Ancient City Wall • Big Wild Goose Pagoda • Hanyang Mausoleum • Flight to Shanghai
After check-out, visit the Ancient City Wall, one of the oldest and best-preserved city walls in China. Optional bicycle ride along the wall (not included).
Continue to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and enjoy the fountain show at the North Plaza.
After lunch, visit the Hanyang Mausoleum, one of China’s largest underground museums. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, meet your local guide and transfer to the hotel.
Day 07 – Shanghai City Tour
Jade Buddha Temple • Oriental Pearl Tower (Exterior) • Yuyuan Garden • Nanjing Road • The Bund
Explore modern Shanghai starting with the Jade Buddha Temple, home to the famous seated jade Buddha. Continue to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower (exterior view) and enjoy a walk along the Riverside Promenade.
After lunch, visit Yuyuan Garden, followed by shopping at Shanghai Old Street and Nanjing Road, the city’s most famous shopping avenue.
End the day with a stroll along The Bund, known for its impressive colonial-era architecture. Optional evening: Shanghai Acrobatic (ERA) Show.
Day 08 – Departure from Shanghai
Enjoy free time at leisure. Transfer to the airport for your return flight.
Optional Maglev Train ride to Pudong International Airport can be arranged upon request.
